OLDER
CHILDREN
Older children who are just
beginning their formal religious education will be evaluated and arrangements
will be made for their class placement.
Two consecutive years must be completed prior to their reception of the
Sacraments. Parents must take a very
active part in their studies and readiness process.
Since the religious education
curriculum that we follow is sequential, a child who returns to the program
after an absence of a year, or more will be placed in the appropriate level to
cover the work missed. Two consecutive
years much be completed prior to their reception of a Sacrament. Parents must take a very active part in their
studies and readiness process.
CHILDREN
WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
All children develop at their own
pace and at various times need individual attention. We ask parents to please advise us of anything that will help our
volunteer catechists make learning easier for your child. Alert us if your child has difficulty
seeing, hearing, delayed reading skills, ADD/Hyperactivity, etc.
Children with special needs are
individually assessed and will be accommodated to the best of our ability
through classroom site selection, catechist, and a personal class assistant as
needed. With your help, we strive to
offer the best Christian learning environment for each child.
